About Me

I am a results-driven engineer and data scientist driving impact at the intersection of hardware, software, and supply chain systems. My experience spans from server & rack architecture design, to supplier production, to datacenter deployment & telemetry analysis. I draw from my diverse background in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, machine learning, and deep learning to build the physical and digital infrastructure powering the Azure cloud.

In addition to my day job, I enjoy DJing a variety of music genres including Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Jazz, and House. If any of the above areas piqued your interest then don't hesisitate to connect with me.

Work Experience

  1. Microsoft Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure

Manufacturing Engineer II (2019 — Present)
    • Leading hardware production and supply chain improvements via management of supplier network
    • Spearheaded org-wide material reliability testing, design of experiments, and statistical process control reviews to enable vendor rack production and drive $8 million in downstream savings
    • Developed automated rack assembly BOM inspection tool using Azure Vision + ML Studio and Python libraries to analyze hardware photo samples, reducing inspection cycle time by 20%
    • Managed end-to-end development of Power BI forecasting tool to balance workload distribution of 400+ hardware programs across 7 engineering teams and save 2,400 labor hours annually
    • Built Azure SQL pipeline to extract and clean SKU program data (1 million+ rows) and built XGBoost schedule prediction model to improve workload forecasting accuracy by 32%
    • Developed linear predictive model for Azure Hackathon team to minimize H100 server downtime by prioritizing 20,000 datacenter repair tickets according to fault code duration and frequency
  2. Gray Artificial Intelligence, Inc.

Capstone Project Technical Lead (Jan - May 2025)
    • Developed master’s capstone project in collaboration with GrayAI, a startup leveraging deep learning and AI technologies to optimize data center operations through efficient server validation, power distribution, and preventative maintenance practices.
    • Led 4-member graduate student team in analysis of server memory hardware to model server telemetry patterns, identify deviations from baseline operational behavior, and optimize validation testing
    • Created PyTorch-based temporal convolutional network autoencoder architecture to analyze multivariate time series data and quantify anomalous server behavior in time spans as short as 100 milliseconds, improving model accuracy by reducing reconstruction loss from 28% to 0.25%
    • Built comprehensive GitHub repository with scripts, notebooks, and reporting as well as MLflow structure to log experiments, model parameters, and artifacts for client
  3. Georgia Tech Research Institute

    Industrial Assessment Engineer (2016 - 2019)
    • Collaborated with dynamic team of engineering professionals, researchers, and clients to visit small to medium sized manufacturing plants and produce energy assessment reports in order to optimize plant productivity, reduce waste output, conserve energy usage, and improve cost savings
    • Identified average of $130,000 in annual cost savings per plant assessment, $50,000 of which are implemented during first year following the assessment
